The Cathedral was started to be built in 1526 and never was completely finished (it was meant to have two towers). It is locked up in the city center with houses all around which makes it difficult to appreciate its size. It also contains the Royal Chapel, the tomb of the Catholic Kings Isabel and Fernando who conquered Granada in 1492.
